Rare! Clear Quartz Crystals on Franklinite & Willemite Sterling Hill New Jersey

Description

Quartz crystals are not very common within the Franklin district.  This fine specimen features a bed on lovely clear quartz scepters on a matrix consisting of franklinite, willemite, calcite and hetaerolite.  Some of the hetaerolite displays lovely little crystals.  On some of the franklinite there is a metallic blue irridescence like that of bornite so there might be some copper sulfide enrichment.  Very nice specimen that displays fluorescence of the willemite under shortwave UV.
