Pennisetum
A stand-out perennial plant with vibrant bronze-red foliage, and fluffy plumes that tower over the foliage, and blow gracefully in the wind. The effect of the bronze-red foliage provides a remarkable focal point both in the garden, and in planters.
Red Fountain Grass is a hybrid plant, which means that seedlings may differ slightly from the original plant. I expect that plants will be mainly red, with occasional lighter red shades or green plants. Please feel free to contact us and let us know the results of your seeds!

Germination
Seeds germinate in a few days under warm conditions. Start indoors a few weeks before the last frost date. Germinate at 72 to 78°F. Temperatures below 68°F will delay germination and growth.

International shipping: All countries outside of Canada require a seed inspection and a phytosanitary certificate, which is included in the cost of shipping. For USA orders we use this paperwork to get your order over the border (you will not see the certificate as it is taken at the border). Outside of North America, you will see the certificate arrive with your order. Though these certificates are costly, our customers tell us that they appreciate the option to order from us.
