LONG WAVE and SHORT WAVE UV
Excellent multi color fluorescence on this specimen from the Purple Passion mine. The mine is famous for its fluorescent minerals. This sample is fairly fragile and needs to be handled with care, small bits come off easily.
One of the better samples I have had.
NOTE! You will need both a long wave and short wave light sources to see all the colors.
The Calcite (Red) and Willemite (Green) fluoresce well under SHORT WAVE (254nm), and the Fluorite (Blue), Calcite (Red)  LONG WAVE.

I used a 5 watt short wave lamp for the SW images, and a Convoy S2 for the long wave shots, you will need the same or similar to see the fluorescence.
