LONG WAVE UV
Nice dark Purple Fluorite crystal cluster. Very rich purple color and great stepped crystal growth. Not a great fluorescent specimen but there is some tan color showing under long wave, which is possibly some kind of impurity.
There is some remnant styrofoam glued on the lower back side that will come off with acetone. It was originally glued to a foam board for display and was removed at some point.
The UV fluorescence is somewhat muted as the the purple color comes from Iron impurities which mutes a UV reaction.
