    Smithsonite is generally not considered a fluorescent mineral, however we obtained specimens that do fluoresce. This is a good small cabinet specimen of red fluorescing smithsonite under a UV SW lamp.
    The fluorescence is seen on the top and bottom sides and the edges of the specimen with moderate brightness.
