Natural Eyeball Fluorescent Mineral Septarian Phosphorescent rock J53

Description

This is an oval polished Septarian weighing 3.4 ounces (97 g), and measuring approximately 2.00 inches X 1.75 inches X 1.00 inch (5.0 cm X 4.2 cm X 2.4 cm).
OK – Is it just me?
Doesn’t this piece look like an eyeball in UV???
This fluorescent rock glows very nicely under longwave UV light.
It probably glows well in midwave too, however my setup for photographing is dismantled due to the recent hurricane here, so I do not have midwave UV to test it for you.
UV Photos shown are under longwave UV.
The “V” shaped band to the right is phosphorescent under both shortwave and longwave, and probably midwave too, but is better in Longwave than Shortwave.
NOTE: Typical Blacklight UV lights will not display any color.
Also, the intensity of the color will vary depending on the strength of the lamp you have.
