Magnesio-Riebeckite Nodule with Green Fluorescent Sphalerite, Franklin, NJ

Description

A small specimen of blue magnesio-riebeckite containing a pocket of green sphalerite crystals, which fluoresce green under shortwave UV and green/red/brown under longwave UV. Photos 2 & 3 are under shortwave UV. Photos 4 & 5 are under longwave UV. Collected in Franklin, NJ. Size: 2-1/4" x 1-1/2" x 1-1/2". Weight is 2.5 oz. or 70 grams.
Please note: you must have a 254nm shortwave UV lamp or a 365nm longwave UV lamp to view the fluorescent response of this specimen.
I always combine shipping wherever possible. I ship by USPS Priority Mail 2-day or 3-day. I carefully pad and pack each item securely in a cardboard mailing box.
