    LONG WAVE UV
    Limestone cobble with veins of fluorescent Calcite that look really interesting under long wave UV light  I collected it a few nights ago in Milwaukee County along the Lake Michigan shoreline. The specimen has some interesting areas with micro crystals of Marcasite and likely Pyrite. The veins that fluoresce so nicely are yellowish/tan Calcite. I have found only a few like this over the years.
    The rock is weathered smooth from tumbling around in the Lake.
    296 grams.
    3-3/4" length.
