    This is a very good large example of these uncommon geodes that first appeared at mineral shows more than ten years ago. These specimens feature flower like formations of quartz crystals in the voids of the geode. This example has overgrowth of chalcedony over some of the quartz.
    The fluorescence is a bright green under the UV SW lamp. The green color comes from a overgrowth of hyalite opal on the quartz.
