Large fluorescent Hanksite barrel crystal, Searles lake, Ca. h18741

Description

this extra large hanksite Crystal weighs 1 lb 6.3 Oz. it is 4 1/8 in Long x a little over 3 inches x 2 5/8 in. it has several smaller Crystal's protruding, mud and borax inclusions. It has a single termination on one end and an area where it was attached to another Crystal on the other end. This is not a floater.
Hanksite is a fluorescent salt mineral it can be damaged by moisture and will dissolve in water. Please protect your hanksite crystals with mineral oil. 99% of all the hanksite in the world comes from Searles Valley. This piece was collected October 14th 2017 at the mud pit in Searles Lake
