    Description

    Up for bid is an unusual, orange fluorescing mineral from Franklin New Jersey. There are several members of the Apatite family that fluoresce orange: Fluorapatite, Svabite, Johnbaumite, Turneaureite. I am guessing that this one is Fluorapatite. There is also Willemite and Calcite on the piece. I got a couple of pieces of this from the Nick Zipco collection about 10 years ago. Time to let one go.
