JH11295 Hyalite Lined Vugs, Gray’s Quarry, WY

Description

Up for bid is an unusual specimen from Gray’s Quarry near the Glendo Reservoir in Wyoming. This has numerous vugs filled with bright green fluorescing Hyalite. There are also some smaller spots of white fluorescing calcite that is phosphorescent.
I think most of the fluorescent material from this location formed in vugs like this. However, most of these vugs were too big, and the specimens too small, for the outline of the vug to be noticeable. This is the first time I have seen a specimen on eBay with complete vugs like this.
This came from an old collection. I heard that this site is now closed to collecting so the only place to get these is out of old collections and dealer stock.
