Description
LONG WAVE and SHORT WAVE UVVery nice yellow fluorescing Fluorite specimen from Hardin County. The unusual yellow fluorescence occurs with both long wave and short wave UV light. The specimen has golden yellow colored inter grown Fluorite crystals in the center and purple finer grained granular crystals layering the top and bottom.
Petroleum may be the reasoning for the Yellow colored fluorescence. Images #1, 4 are under long wave UV light.
Nice specimen.
