    Description

    LONG WAVE UV
    This is a weathered Nepheline Syenite "Yooperlite" rock with nice bright fluorescent orange Sodalite. Magnetite is noted as well in this specimen as a magnet is attracted to it.
    Fluoresces under long wave UV (Convoy S2 recommended, I have some in my store)
    Weathered exterior from tumbling around in lake Michigan.
    Collected in Milwaukee County Wisconsin along the Lake Michigan shoreline.
    60 grams.
    2" length.
    NOTE!
    I use a ConvoyS2 LONG WAVE 365nm UV flashlight with a band pass filter installed for finding these and the photos, you will need one as well to see the fluorescence as nicely as seen in photos.
