    sample of a Nepheline Syenite "Yooperlite" rock with bright fluorescent orange Sodalite.
    Interesting how the exterior did not show much fluorescence but the interior is dense with it.
    Lake Michigan beach find.
    Fluoresces under long wave UV light (Convoy S2 recommended, I have some in my store)
    Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, Lake Michigan shoreline.
    14 grams.
    1-3/4" length.
    NOTE!
    I use a ConvoyS2 LONG WAVE 365nm UV flashlight with a band pass filter installed for finding these and the photos, you will need one as well to see the fluorescence as nicely as seen in photos.
