Fluorescent mineral rock Sphalerite Cleiophane J12

Description

Sphalerite glows pink or blue (var. Cleiophane) under a good longwave UV light.
If using fluorescent tubes as your UV source, midwave may be better than longwave, but the longwave FyrFly flashlight typically shows it best.
UV photos are LONGWAVE UV.
This is a stone weighing 1.6 ounces (48g) and measuring about 1.50 inches X 1.00 inches X 0.75 inches (3.6 cm X 2.4 cm X 1.7 cm).
Sphalerite shows best in longwave using a Convoy 365 UV S2+ lamp or the FyrFly light. Do not expect such color without the FyrFly, Convoy 365nm or equivalent lamp.
Even an expensive 60W longwave lamp will not show the colors as well.
The FyrFly light shows excellent color, and is highly recommended.
