Here's a great multicolor SW/LW fluorescent mix (collected in 2002 from the Hogan Claim). These specimens, as a class, all combine Calcite (red SW), Willemite (green/white SW), Fluorite (blue LW/SW), Smithsonite (pink/powder blue SW, tan/gold LW), and Caliche (cream/orange LW/SW) in varying combinations - check out the photos, and draw your own conclusions as to which minerals are most strongly represented in this specific example. I've shown at least two different views for this specimen, and this specific specimen is the one you will receive if you are the successful buyer. The UV pics are taken under medium-power shortwave UV sources using appropriate Hoya filters. BTW, if you'd like to brighten the blue, just add a longwave lamp!

ULTRAVIOLET PHOTO NOTES:
Accurately representing the true colors of these specimens under UV light through digital photography is very tricky, and dependent on many factors, including UV source lighting, background, ambient light, distance from lamp to specimen, camera characteristics, and others, even the type of monitor you use to view them. I try very hard to make sure that all photos accurately represent the way the specimens look to me under my UV lamps; I use 36 watt longwave and shortwave lamps mounted roughly 12 in. above the specimens in my photo setup. I vary the exposure and apeture of my digital camera (an Olympus E500) to make sure that the resulting photos look the same to me as the rocks do under the lamp(s). One ongoing problem: a blue reflection from the UV sources sometimes finds its way into the photos, and is difficult to eliminate - this problem is worse in longwave UV than in shortwave...
