Fluorescent Hardystonite, Clinohedrite & Willemite , Franklin, NJ #90

Description

A large chunk of fluorescent hardystonite with clinohedrite, willemite and franklinite from Franklin, NJ. The hardystonite is fluorescent purple, the clinohedrite is pink/orange and the willemite is fluorescent green under shortwave UV light. The willemite forms attractive vein patterns. The franklinite is non-fluorescent. I took a couple of longwave photos and there is a pretty good response(photos 6 & 7). All the rest of the UV photos are shortwave. Size: 5-1/2" x 3" x 2-1/4". Weight is 2 lb. 7 oz. or 1088 grams.
You must have a 254nm shortwave UV lamp or a 365nm longwave UV lamp to properly view the fluorescent response of this specimen.
I always combine shipping whenever possible. I carefully pad and pack each item securely in a cardboard mailing box. I do not supply a gift box or gift wrapping.
