    Description

    LONG WAVE UV
Water tumbled by Lake Michigan this is a rounded and smooth fossiliferous Limestone specimen that fluoresces nicely under long wave UV light. All kinds of various fossils make up this specimen, not going to try to ID them all, but Chrinoids are obvious. Since is was tumbled around in the lakes waves  the surface is abraded by sand and when dry the details are difficult to see well, solution is getting it wet. The last image is it shown dry, the others wet.
From Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, Lake Michigan shoreline.
    58 grams.
    2" length.

    NOTE!
Photos taken with a 365nm Convoy2 filtered Long Wave UV light. You will need one similar as well to see the fluorescence.
