Fluorescent Esperite, Hardystonite, Calcite, Barite, Franklin, NJ #193

Description

A good-sized hand specimen of yellow fluorescent esperite with a touch of hardystonite, calcite, barite, willemite and franklinite. The willemite is fluorescent green and the franklinite is non-fluorescent. The barite is the slightly blurry areas near the edges of the esperite and willemite. This is a true 6-color specimen. Shortwave UV photos taken under a 70-watt Engenious Designs Nightstick lamp. It is a well known fact that esperite is difficult to photograph. This is a really nice specimen and I guarantee that you won't be disappointed. Size: 4" x 3" x 1-1/2". Weight is 1 lb.  15 oz. or 858 grams.
You must have a 254nm shortwave UV lamp to view the fluorescent response of this specimen.
I always combine shipping whenever possible. I ship by USPS 2 or 3-day Priority Mail. I carefully pad and pack each item securely in a cardboard mailing box.
