Fibrous Wollastonite Specimen, Franklin, NJ

Description

A small cabinet specimen of rare fibrous wollastonite from Franklin, NJ. Some green fluorescing willemite is evident. The longwave response shown in photo # 6 has some red-fluorescent longwave bustamite. Photos 1-5 are shortwave UV. Photos 7-9 are under white fluorescent light. From the Franklin Mine, Franklin, NJ. Size: 2-1/2" x 1-1/4" x 1-1/4". Weight is 3 oz. or 88 grams.
Please note; you must have a 254nm shortwave filtered UV lamp to view this specimen.
I always combine shipping wherever possible. I ship by USPS 2-day and 3-day Priority Mail. I carefully pad and pack each item securely in a cardboard mailing box.
