    Description

    A nice yellow specimen with bright bands and spatters of Chondrodite (
    SW/UV yellow) and a few dots of Diopside (SW/UV blue) on non-fluorescent
    and a few small patches of red fluorescent
    Calcite (SW/UV).  A classic Long Lake "Galaxy Rock".
    Long Lake minerals are known for their beautiful pastel colors, bright "Lightning Bolts" and spectacular starry night "Galaxy" patterns.
    From the Long Lake Zinc Mine, Parham, Olden Township, Frontenac County, Ontario, Canada.
    Large cabinet sized specimen - 4.0 X 2.1 X 2.0 inches
