    This specimen has an interesting story ! This piece was in an old collection I bought . I was eager to get it
    home
    and check its fluorescence as it should have been a bright electric blue. To my amazement , it was not electric blue, but red/orange. So, on one of my  days as a docent at the Maine Mineral and Gem Museum I had their lab do some
    tests
    on it.   They found out there was no tungsten in it, but a high per cent of  calcium. Thus the collector may have found it at Trumbull , but its not CaWO4 . It is calcite !!!!!!!
