BRIGHTLY FLUORESCENT GREEN FLUORITE, MADAGASCAR

Description

This is a beautiful and terrific example of green, brightly fluorescent, fluorite from Madagascar.
It comes from Mandrosonoro, Ambatofinandrahana, Amoron'i Mania, Madagascar. Try saying that 3 times fast :-).
Great crystals. Excellent thematic specimen for display or fluorescent characteristics. In my opinion, this material is as nice as, if not nicer than Rogerly fluorite!
THIS SPECIMEN ? MAY HAVE SMALL AREA THAT HAS BEEN GLUED. Honestly I am not 100% sure. Photo 9 shows the "defect". Photos 10 and 11 show a perpetual view through the "bad spot". It does not appear to go all the way through the specimen. Be that as it may , it is solid and certainly a good display specimen at a very affordable cost!
The specimen fluoresces a deep blue under long wave UV light ( photos 1& 4 ) and under short wave UV light ( photos 1 -3).
Short wave photos taken with Super Bright UV lamp, long wave with Way Too Cool  36 watt lamp. Please note special UV light is mandatory to visualize the fluorescence.
