Circa 1912 BARTLESVILLLE Oklahoma, Okla OK Souvenir Uranium Custard Glass Open Sugar.
This lovely piece was produced by the
Jefferson Glass Company,
of Follansbee, West Virginia.
The open sugar is shown in the
Ribbed Thumbprint pattern
& is decorated with hand painted red rose buds, green leafing & red script lettering.
It measures 2 3/4" tall & has a diameter of 3" across slightly flared top. Bottom shows a starburst design....see my images.
EXCELLENT CONDITION after 110+ years.....NO chips or cracks & the roses & red lettering are perfect.
NOTE:
Top scalloped edge has some (expected) loss of metallic gold after all these years.

Bartlesville
is a city mostly in Washington County in the U.S. sate of Oklahoma. The population was 37,384 in 2021. Bartlesville is 47 miles north of Tulsa and 18 miles south of the Kansas border. The Caney River runs through Bartlesville. Bartlesville is notable as the longtime home of Phillips Petroleum Company, founded in the early 1900's. The company merged with Conoco as Conoco/Phillips and later split into the two independent companies, Phillips 66 and ConocoPhillips. Both companies have retained some operations in Bartlesville, but they have moved their corporate headquarters to Houston. Bartlesville is one of two places in Oklahoma where a Lenape Native American tribe lives, the other being Anadarko.
