    Description

    Here is a vintage trinket dish depicting the Carnegie Library in Guthrie, Oklahoma. A ceramic piece, the interior illustration is a transfer design. The inner side edges are trimmed with pale lime/chartreuse/celery green. Edges rise up to eight points. The bottom is printed with "Wheelock, Made in Germany for Guthrie Novelty Racket, Guthrie, Okla." Measures 4 by 4 inches; height is about 1.25 inches. Due to the "Guthrie Novelty Racket" stamp, this item is assumed to date between 1903-1907 (internet research).
    This is a used, pre-owned item. There are no cracks, chips, or nicks. Some of the transfer has worn off over the years (circle line design, "Carnegie" word.) There is rust on the bottom.
